To date, the Federal IT Steering Unit (FITSU) has been responsible for federal ICT security. With the Ordinance on Protecting against Cyber-Risks in the Federal Administration, these tasks and responsibilities will be transferred to the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) with effect from 1 July 2020.
The FITSU's decisions and specifications on federal ICT security will continue to apply until they are revised by the NCSC.
As a transitional solution, until the NCSC information platform is set up in the course of 2020, the existing information on federal ICT security will continue to be published on the FITSU website.
